Happy Tasty Tuesday guys! On Sunday it was Mommy and Milly day, so I didn’t have much time to stay at home and create a masterpiece in the kitchen. So, who did I turn to in time of need? That’s right, my right hand man, the Crock! I had some chicken breasts in the refrigerator and a jar of Pace Salsa in the pantry, so that was all I needed! Easy tacos for your weeknight rotation, with lots of flavor! Yummy! And here is how the magic happens…
Ingredients:
2 Chicken Breasts
1 can of Black Beans drained and rinsed
1 Jar of Salsa
Shredded Cheese
Lettuce for topping
Dash of Cumin
Dash of Chili Powder
Hard or Soft Taco Shells
How to Prepare:
Place Chicken, Salsa and Spices in crock pot. Turn on low and cover for 4-5 hours. The chicken will just shred apart with two forks. Place in taco shells and add black beans, cheese, and toppings to your delight.
This is seriously the easiest weeknight meal and it packs a taste bud punch! What is your weeknight Mexican go to? Have you made something similar to this?
